Quickplay introduces a shared console for live broadcast and OTT operations
Live Operations brings channel scheduling, signal control, advertising and monitoring into a single operator interface.

The IBC announcement
Quickplay introduced Live Operations in its IBC2026 announcement, published on September 10 with a September 11 dateline. The company describes a central console covering scheduling, signal management, ad decisions, clip creation and monitoring for live channels.
Content discovery also gets attention
Alongside the operational tools, Quickplay announced Engagement Quality Score. It describes this as a measure of content value intended to inform recommendations and the placement of content in a streaming catalogue.
The operator perspective
Our takeaway: reducing the number of disconnected tools can make live-channel work easier to coordinate. Before adopting a new control system, teams should validate failover behaviour, monitoring coverage and integration with their existing infrastructure. The vendor announcement is not an independent performance test.
