How peer-to-peer streaming works
In a peer-to-peer network, participating viewer devices exchange video segments. The devices act as peers rather than receiving every segment independently from a central server.
For 1-Stream, this sharing is provided through 1 Play. The CMS manages the streaming operation, while the app enables viewers to participate in P2P delivery.

1-Stream is IPTV and OTT streaming management software for operators using their own content and infrastructure. 1 Play is our viewer app with P2P support. These are distinct parts of the offering.
General player compatibility should not be confused with P2P support. The P2P feature described on this page applies to 1 Play.
